Refund Policy
When refunds, cancellations, replacements, and other remedies apply to Bright Careers products and services.
This Refund Policy explains when Bright Careers may provide a refund, replacement, correction, repeat performance, account credit, or another appropriate remedy.
It applies to digital products, downloadable resources, templates, automated tools, courses, memberships, subscriptions, setup services, customization, consulting, support, and other products or services offered through brightcareers.co.
Bright Careers is operated by Ali Khan Firooz.
This policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions and the specific product or service description shown at the time of purchase.
General Principle
We want customers to receive the product or service described at the time of purchase.
Where a product is not delivered, is materially defective, cannot be accessed, or is materially different from its description, we will review the matter and provide an appropriate remedy.
Depending on the circumstances, the remedy may include:
- Technical assistance
- A corrected or replacement file
- Restored access
- Repeat performance of a service
- Completion of missing work
- A partial refund
- A full refund
- Another remedy required by applicable law
Nothing in this Refund Policy removes or limits a legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Products and Services Covered
This Refund Policy may apply to:
- Downloadable digital products
- Templates, guides, workbooks, and documents
- Automated workflows, dashboards, prompts, and digital tools
- Online courses and educational resources
- Memberships and access-based products
- One-time purchases
- Recurring subscriptions
- Setup, configuration, and implementation services
- Customization and personalized work
- Consulting and advisory services
- Support services
- Other Bright Careers products and services
The product description, sales page, checkout page, proposal, order confirmation, and any written service scope form part of the terms applying to each order.
Digital Products and Access-Based Products
Digital products may be delivered through:
- A download page
- A customer account
- A cloud storage link
- An online course or membership platform
- Another electronic delivery method
Because digital files and online materials can normally be downloaded, copied, viewed, or used immediately after access is provided, change-of-mind refunds are not normally available after delivery or access has begun.
This may include situations where:
- A download link has been issued
- A file has been opened or downloaded
- Materials have been copied or imported
- Course or membership content has been accessed
- A template, prompt, dashboard, workflow, or tool has been used
- Login or access credentials have been provided
This limitation does not apply where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable consumer law.
Refunds Before Digital Delivery
You may request a full refund before a digital product or access-based product has been delivered, provided that:
- The delivery link has not been sent
- Access has not been activated
- The product has not been downloaded, copied, imported, or used
- Work connected to the order has not already begun
- The order is not subject to a different legally permitted cancellation rule
Where delivery is automatic and immediate, it may not be possible to cancel the order before access is provided.
Missing, Defective, Inaccessible, or Misdescribed Products
Please notify us promptly if:
- You did not receive the purchased product
- A required file is missing
- A file is corrupted or cannot be opened
- An access link does not work
- Required account access was not activated
- A core component does not function as described
- The product is materially different from the description shown at purchase
- The wrong product was delivered
We may request reasonable information such as screenshots, error messages, device details, software information, or confirmation of the steps already attempted.
We may first provide:
- A replacement file
- A corrected download link
- Restored access
- Updated instructions
- Reasonable technical assistance
- A corrected version of the affected product
If we cannot correct a material problem within a reasonable time, we may provide a full or proportionate refund based on the part of the product affected and the remedy required by applicable law.
Services, Setup, and Custom Work
Services may include setup, configuration, implementation, customization, consulting, design, advisory work, and other personalized assistance.
Before Work Begins
A full refund may normally be requested before work begins, provided that no digital product has already been accessed and no non-refundable third-party cost has been incurred.
After Work Begins
Where work has started, any refund may be reduced by the reasonable value of work already completed.
This may include:
- Planning and preparation
- Meetings and consultations
- Research
- Reviews and assessments
- Configuration work
- Drafting or design
- Customization
- Technical setup
- Testing
- Revisions already completed
- Third-party costs incurred for the order
After Completion
Completed services are not normally refundable because of a change of mind.
Where completed work materially fails to match the agreed written scope, please notify us promptly. We will normally have a reasonable opportunity to correct the issue or repeat the affected part of the service.
Where a material problem cannot be corrected, an appropriate partial or full refund may be provided depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
Customized and Personalized Products
Products created, adapted, configured, or personalized specifically for a customer may not qualify for a change-of-mind refund after customization has begun.
This may include:
- Customized templates
- Personalized documents
- Branded resources
- Configured dashboards
- Customer-specific workflows
- Tailored prompts or evaluation frameworks
- Custom designs
- Individually prepared reports
- Products created using customer-provided information
This does not remove rights relating to products or services that are defective, materially misdescribed, incomplete, or not delivered with the legally required level of care.
Subscriptions and Recurring Payments
Where Bright Careers offers a subscription, membership, or recurring service, the applicable price, billing frequency, renewal terms, and cancellation process will be displayed before purchase.
You may cancel a recurring plan to prevent future renewal charges.
Unless otherwise stated or required by law:
- Cancellation applies to future billing periods
- Access may continue until the end of the paid billing period
- Payments already made are not automatically refundable
- Partial use of a billing period does not automatically qualify for a proportionate refund
- Failure to use the subscription does not automatically qualify for a refund
A refund may be provided where:
- You were charged after properly cancelling
- You were charged more than the disclosed amount
- A recurring payment was not authorized
- The service was materially unavailable for an unreasonable period
- A refund is required by applicable law
Free trials, promotional periods, and introductory offers may be subject to additional terms shown before registration.
Change-of-Mind Requests
The following situations do not normally qualify for a refund after delivery, access, or performance has begun:
- You changed your mind
- You no longer need the product or service
- You do not have time to use or implement it
- You purchased the wrong product without reviewing the description
- You expected features that were not included in the sales description
- You did not review the technical requirements
- You did not follow the provided instructions
- You did not provide information or access required to complete a service
- You decided not to continue with a project
- You found a different product or service elsewhere
- You expected a guaranteed personal, career, financial, hiring, learning, operational, or business result
- You did not achieve a particular outcome
- You are dissatisfied only with a variable artificial intelligence output
- Your account, device, software, or third-party platform is unsupported
- A third-party provider changed its prices, limits, features, or availability
- You breached the Terms and Conditions
- You shared, resold, copied, or redistributed the product without permission
Each request will still be reviewed where mandatory consumer rights may apply.
Artificial Intelligence and Automated Outputs
Some Bright Careers products may use or connect with artificial intelligence, formulas, scoring systems, automated workflows, or decision-support tools.
Artificial intelligence and automated systems may produce outputs that vary depending on:
- The information provided
- The instructions used
- Customer-selected criteria
- Data quality
- Missing information
- File formatting
- Language
- System configuration
- Third-party provider behaviour
A refund is not normally available solely because an artificial intelligence output, recommendation, draft, score, summary, or automated result differs from the customer’s preferred result.
However, we will review a request where a product or service materially fails to perform the core function described at the time of purchase.
Customers remain responsible for reviewing and verifying automated outputs before relying on them.
Third-Party Platforms
Some products and services may depend on third-party platforms such as:
- Payment processors
- Website hosts
- Cloud storage providers
- Email services
- Productivity software
- Automation platforms
- Artificial intelligence providers
- Course or membership platforms
- Other external services
Bright Careers does not control third-party pricing, availability, account restrictions, outages, usage limits, policy changes, feature changes, or discontinuation.
A refund is not normally available where the problem is caused solely by:
- An unsupported customer account
- Failure to maintain a required third-party account
- Failure to purchase necessary third-party credits or subscriptions
- An account restriction imposed by a third party
- Customer changes to the original configuration
- A third-party platform change occurring after delivery
Where reasonably possible, we may provide updated instructions, recommend an alternative, or assist with correcting the configuration.
EU and UK Cancellation and Withdrawal Rights
Customers in the European Union, European Economic Area, and United Kingdom may have a statutory cancellation or withdrawal period for certain online purchases.
Digital Content
Where immediate access to digital content is requested, customers may be asked to:
- Expressly consent to delivery beginning immediately
- Request access before the statutory cancellation period ends
- Acknowledge that the cancellation right may be lost once delivery or access begins
Where the legally required consent, acknowledgement, or confirmation is not obtained, any mandatory cancellation right will remain available as required by applicable law.
Services
Where a customer asks us to begin providing a service during a statutory cancellation period, the customer may be required to pay a proportionate amount for work completed before cancellation, where permitted by law.
If the service has been fully performed following the required express request and acknowledgement, the right to cancel may be affected as permitted by applicable law.
Mandatory rights relating to faulty, inaccessible, or misdescribed products and services remain unaffected.
Duplicate, Incorrect, or Unauthorized Charges
Please notify us promptly if you believe:
- You were charged more than once
- You were charged the wrong amount
- You were charged after cancelling a recurring plan
- You did not authorize the transaction
- The payment relates to an order you did not place
We may request:
- Your name
- The email address connected to the order
- The transaction date
- The order or receipt number
- The amount charged
- Limited payment verification information
Valid duplicate and incorrect charges will be refunded.
Unauthorized-payment claims may also need to be reported to the relevant payment provider, bank, or financial institution.
How to Request a Refund
Submit your request using the Contact option available on brightcareers.co.
Include:
- Your full name
- The email address used for the purchase
- The order date
- The product or service purchased
- The transaction or receipt number
- A clear description of the issue
- The remedy you are requesting
- Screenshots or error messages where relevant
- Confirmation of whether the product was accessed, downloaded, copied, imported, or used
- Information about any service work already completed
We may request additional information reasonably required to:
- Confirm the order
- Verify your identity
- Investigate the issue
- Prevent fraud
- Determine the stage of delivery
- Determine the amount of work already completed
- Identify an appropriate remedy
Review and Processing Time
We aim to acknowledge refund requests within five business days.
Complex requests may require additional time where we need to:
- Review technical information
- Confirm delivery records
- Investigate account access
- Assess completed service work
- Communicate with a payment provider
- Request further information
Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method.
The time required for funds to appear depends on the payment provider, bank, country, currency, and payment method.
Bright Careers does not control the processing time applied by banks or payment providers after a refund has been approved and submitted.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Please contact us before beginning a chargeback so that we have a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.
Starting a chargeback does not automatically create a right to a refund.
Where a payment is disputed, we may provide the payment provider with relevant evidence, including:
- The order confirmation
- The product description
- The checkout terms
- The Refund Policy accepted at purchase
- Digital delivery records
- Access or download records
- Customer communications
- Service records
- The agreed written scope
- Evidence of completed work
- Evidence relevant to suspected fraud or misuse
This section does not prevent you from exercising a lawful right to dispute an unauthorized, incorrect, or undelivered transaction.
Refund Method
Approved refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method.
We may use another method where:
- The original payment method is unavailable
- The payment provider requires an alternative
- The parties agree to another method
- Applicable law requires another remedy
Currency conversion rates and bank or payment-provider fees may affect the amount received where the original payment involved more than one currency.
Bright Careers is not responsible for exchange-rate changes or third-party fees that it does not control, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Promotions, Discounts, and Founding Customer Pricing
Products purchased using a discount, promotional price, introductory offer, coupon, or founding customer price remain subject to this Refund Policy.
Any approved refund will normally be based on the amount actually paid rather than the standard or future price.
A later price reduction does not automatically entitle an earlier customer to a refund of the difference.
A later price increase does not affect an order already completed.
Mandatory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy removes or restricts any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Depending on the law that applies, customers may have rights relating to:
- Faulty digital content
- Inaccessible products
- Misleading or inaccurate descriptions
- Services not performed with reasonable care and skill
- Unauthorized payments
- Incorrect or duplicate charges
- Cancellation or withdrawal periods
- Repeat performance
- Repair or replacement
- Price reduction
- Full or partial refunds
- Unfair contract terms
Where this Refund Policy conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, the mandatory legal requirement will apply to the extent of the conflict.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy to reflect changes in:
- Products and services
- Payment methods
- Delivery processes
- Business operations
- Consumer protection requirements
- Third-party platforms
- Legal obligations
The latest version will show an updated effective date.
The version shown at the time of purchase will generally govern that order unless:
- A change is required by law
- A later version provides the customer with a more favourable remedy
- The customer expressly agrees to the updated policy
- The change does not materially reduce the customer’s rights
